About the event
As part of our work at the RESHAPE Network (Rising Education Scholars Helping Advance Partnerships & Equity)*, we aim to connect students, postdocs, and education researchers interested in conducting partnership work with schools, organizations, and communities.
For our spring event series, we are hosting a RESHAPE Job Search Panel. The aim of the panel is to demystify the job search process and help early career scholars explore possible career paths for doing partnership work within, across, and beyond the academy. We will bring together five speakers and our moderator, RESHAPE Visioning Committee member, Dr. Adam Bell, to share their job search experiences (successes, failures, reflections, and everything in-between) and engage in a short Q&A afterwards.
Our speakers for this job panel will be:
- Dr. Gage Gorsky
- Dr. Marijke Hecht
- Dr. Breanne Litts
- Dr. Erica Van Steenis
- Dr. Ung-Sang Lee
Full Bios for the Panelists can be found in this Google Doc.
*We define "collaborative, engaged research" broadly to include a range of approaches, including but not limited to the following: design-based and design-based implementation research, improvement science and improvement networks, participatory and youth participatory action research, community-based research, and research alliances
